Distribution

A grant scheme of 350.000 Euro for a minimum of 30 grants. The following break-down in foreseen: 150.000 euros for 23 grants for the circulation of non-national European films in the Romanian cinema halls and 200.000 euros for 7 grants for the improvement of the projection and sound conditions in Romanian cinema halls.

The grant scheme is intended to increase the broadcasting time of European non-national audiovisual works by Romanian broadcasters and to increase the presence of non-national European films in the Romanian cinema halls.

The grant scheme also intends to help in the process of audience building for such works, fostering trans-border circulation of audiovisual content, being thus instrumental in the promotion of cultural diversity and of. European cultural identities.
